Alex founded Silva CPA, LLP to give businesses and nonprofits direct access to an experienced CPA, without the layers of a large firm.
He began his career at a top 10 national accounting firm, then served as controller of a nonprofit organization with a $650 million balance sheet and $60 million in annual revenue, where he oversaw accounting and financial reporting.
That combination means Alex has seen audits from both sides of the table: as the firm performing the work, and as the controller preparing for it. He uses that perspective to run engagements that are thorough without being disruptive, and to give clients practical answers they can act on.
